Is your organization ready?  There are many significant changes that all employers will be facing with the proposed changes to the Employment Standards Act. Some of the requirements will be in effect as early as January 1, 2018. The Bill is expected to be finalized and become law by the end of this year. Some of these reforms impact:

  • Wages
  • Payroll, vacation pay and record keeping
  • Leaves of Absence
  • Scheduling obligations
  • Part-time, Casual and Temporary workers
  • Union certification

These changes will impact current policies and procedures and Collective Agreement provisions.

On December 8th, 2017, join us to review changes proposed by the Fair Workplaces, Better Jobs Act, 2017 and how these new rules will impact your organization.
